Day 01

Ahmedabad

Arrive at Ahmedabad. Today, our Gujarat Tribal Tour will be having mixture of textile and architecture. In Ahmedabad, visit Calico Textile Museum – one of the best textile museums in India. After the visit, check in to the hotel and have lunch. Post lunch take a tour of beautiful Hutheesing Jain Temple, Sidi Sayed Mosque known as Jali Masjid famous for its excellent architecture, Vidyapith tribal museum and Gandhi Ashram – in this Ashram Mahatma Gandhi spent his important days during his freedom struggle against British Empire. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 02

Ahmedabad – Vadodara (150 km – 03 Hrs)

In the morning transfer to Swami Narayan Temple in Kalupur to start the heritage walk in the walled city of Ahmedabad. The walk will end at Jami mosque. Later depart for Vadodara. On arrival at Vadodara, transfer to the hotel and check in. visit Lakshmi Villas Palace. Later, drive to Dabhoi (an ancient small town) to see the few historical Gates. Also, walk through the old streets of the town to see the life style of the people and to experience the real Gujarat. It will be the soft start of Gujarat Tribal Tour today as you have visited the traditional people of the state living in the town not the indigenous tribes. Overnight stay at Vadodara.

Day 03

Vadodara

Today, start the Tribal Tour of Gujarat and drive to the places of the weekly markets either at Chotta Udepur/ Kanwat or Rangpur/ Sajadi. In these markets, different tribes like Rathwas, Bhils and Nayaks can be seen. After witnessing the tribal Haat, visit the tribal museum in Chotta Udepur. Have lunch in Nature Lover's Retreat at Jambughoda. After lunch stop at a Rathwa house to see the painting known as Pithora. In the later afternoon, visit Champaner-Pavagadh – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here visit marvelous Jami Mosque, the walls of the old Fort and Sahar Ki Masjid. Return back to Vadodara to stay overnight.

Day 04

Vadodara – Poshina (300 km – 06 Hrs)

Morning proceed to Poshina. Arrive at Poshina and check in to the heritage hotel Darbargarh. Poshina is a very important destination for Tribal Tours in Gujarat, as the surrounding villages are inhabited by mainly Garacia and Bhil Tribes also called Adivasi. Overnight stay at Poshina.

Day 05

Poshina

Before breakfast, visit the main street of Poshina in front of the hotel to see the Garcia girls carrying the woods from the jungle to sell them into the market. After breakfast, visit the Garacia villages as well as the Adivasi (ancient inhabitants) Villages. Also, visit the terracotta temple dedicated to a local village deity – you can here see the thousands of terracotta horses. In the evening, you can walk through the streets of Poshina visiting ancient temple, royal graveyards and the local market.

Day 06

Poshina – Ambaji – Patan – Modhera - Little Rann of Kutch (300 km – 06 Hrs)

After having breakfast, first drive Kumbharia Jain temples – the stunning Jain temples built by white marbles. Drive further to Ambaji – an auspicious place for Hindus hosing a mother Goddess temple. Here take a walk in the bazaar to see various tribal devotees mainly Gracias in the colorful dresses as well as some of Rabaris. Later proceed to Patan - an ancient city located on the banks of the sacred Sarswati River. We will first visit the Patola weavers and have lunch. Afterwards, visit the Rani Ki Vav step well – one of the nicest monuments of Gujarat. Our next stop would be Modhera, situated on the banks of the Pushpavati River, here take a tour of superb Modhera Sun temple. Finally arrive at Little Rann of Kutch and check in to the resort. The best thing of Gujarat Tribal Tour is that it involves culture, arts, architecture, textile and wildlife in the itinerary

Day 07

Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary

Today, you will enjoy the wildlife getting little relax from intensive Tribal holiday of Gujarat. In the morning, drive to Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary to observe the birds (Siberian Crane, flamingos) and different animals like the highly endangered Asiatic wild Ass along with some antelopes. Also make the small visit to the Agaria salt workers. In the afternoon, take the tour of Vadiara Rabari, Koli and Bhairwad tribe's villages. These villages are in the surroundings of Little Rann of Kutch. Overnight stay at Little Rann of Kutch.

Day 08

Little Rann of Kutch – Bhuj (250 km – 05 Hrs)

Today, the Gujarat Tribal Tour will enter into Kutch region the most beautiful part of Gujarat. After having breakfast, drive to Bhuj stopping on the way to observe some of the Rabari caravans. Also visit Dhamadka to see the block printing by the Khatri tribe. By the end of the day, arrive at Bhuj. stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09

Bhuj

After having breakfast, visit Darbargadh & Pragmahal palace, the Royal Cenotaph and the Aina Mahal Museum. After lunch, start the excursion to Dhaneti to observe the embroidery by the Ahir tribe and Bhujodi to view the weavers from the Vankar tribe.

Day 10

Bhuj – Jura – Nirona – Kalu Dungar – Bhirandiyara

After breakfast, drive to Hodka visiting Jura Village, where we can see Sodha Raiputs and the Maru Meghwar tribes. Also see the Rogan painting by the Khatri family in Nirona village. Visit, the copper bell making process by the Lohar tribe and the Vadha tribe who transform wood into household with bright colors. Finally arrive at visit Bhirandiyara village – to appreciate the beautiful painted houses of the Meghwar tribe, here you can see some handicrafts made by the women. Latter proceed to visit Kalo Dungar to view the beautiful sunset at Indo-Pakistan border. (Last point for no man's land), one can also see salt desert., Latter proceed to Hotel & enjoy Gujarati Dinner and stay overnight at the resort.

Day 11

Bhirandiyara - Gandhi nu Gaam - Hodka/Dhordo

In the morning, visit Hodka village and other nearby Tribal villages. After having lunch, continue to Khavda to see Potters and Samma tribe. Return, back to resort. Today you will enjoy cultural program of Kutchi People at the resort. Latter proceed to White Rann which provides the view of the Great Rann & Sunset. This will be the end of Gujarat Tribal Tour

Day 12

Hodka-Bhuj

After having leisurely breakfast, Drop at Bhuj airport /railway station with crafting unforgettable memories from AtoZ Holidays.
